What is pledge?
It is a commitment that we can make to help people who are living in poverty around the world. It is an assurance that we will stand by them when they suffer and will rejoice with them when they celebrate. Through pledge programs we can stand with our partner churches, year after year, as they reach out to serve the poor and disadvantaged in their communities.
When you become involved in one of UCOA's pledge programs by making a donation on a regular basis to the project of your choice, lives will be changed. The project may help children gain an education, or to have access to basic health care. Each one of the projects that you can support by becoming a pledge sponsor, benefits whole communities, not just individuals. From the digging of a well through to teaching a child to read and write, entire communities will be touched by your gift.
Being involved in a pledge program is a fantastic way to participate in and support the work of our partner churches. You will see enormous changes happen in many different communities, and you will witness the transformation of lives.
